Kickstart ratchet spring to suit the 4 speed gearbox on 9E / 32A / 37A ect. Also fits the Villiers twins and 1H engine.

These are often  over compressed due to age and don’t load the kickstart ratchet correctly, causing slipping of the kickstart mechanism.
